Our Services

Individual Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy intervention using a sensory integrative approach is fun. Treatment is provided in the context of play, and uses the child’s interests and motivations to obtain optimal engagement in therapy.

OT is based on the unique needs of each child and it addresses challenges with sensory processing, self-regulation, behavior, emotional regulation, gross and fine motor skills, social interaction and school performance. Therapists also help with daily living skills.

Individual Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy at Pediatric Therapy Partners utilizes movement and play to
help a child organize their body and more readily access speech and language skills. Our skilled speech language pathologists use the sensory rich environment to foster engagement, self regulation and participation to teach functional play skills and social communication.

Using a child-centered, relationship based approach to treatment; speech language pathologists offer comprehensive evaluation and individualized therapy.

There are times when a traditional approach to treatment isn’t as effective as a co-treat model with a Speech Therapist and an Occupational Therapist treating one child together. Ideally, by combining the two approaches, more significant progress is made in the same amount of time. Individual progress varies based on each child’s specific strengths and weaknesses, as well as cognitive, environmental and other variables. When the co-treated child is ready, speech and occupational therapies separate and return to two separate sessions.

Home and School Consultation

Occupational and Speech Therapists are available to provide in-home or school consultative services. The therapist will observe your child in the chosen environment to gain a better understanding of the challenges in that unique setting. The therapist works with you to develop therapeutic intervention or environmental adaptations that will provide increased support for your child.

Individuals of any age can benefit from EEG training. Neurofeedback can help with a variety of childhood challenges including bedwetting, nightmares, sleep issues, attentional issues, regulatory problems, and other forms of disruptive behaviors. In addition, it can help children, adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety and depression. By providing the individual with real-time feedback on brainwave activity, we are able to train the brain waves for optimal functioning.

Groups and Classes

Pediatric Therapy Partners offers a variety of groups for different ages. Included are social groups, handwriting groups, community access groups, and feeding. This can be a very effective way to practice skills developed in individual sessions. Participants in our groups go through a screening process to ensure each child receives the most individualized attention within the context of a group.
